About the diner

A neighborhood diner on Route 37.

Look for the long red sign on Route 37 West at Tanager Drive. It still says what the place does: breakfast, lunch, dinner. Inside there are green booths along the windows, tables down the middle and lamps hanging over the counter.

People come in for eggs on the way to work, for a club sandwich and a cup of soup at lunch, and for broiled flounder or chicken francaise at the end of the day. Some come in every week.

We open at 7 AM every day of the week. Children under ten have their own menu, from a short stack of pancakes to spaghetti with a meatball.
